Jonathan’s purpose for starting his business, Amazon Auto Pilots, was to show people that having a passive income and investing in an Amazon Automation business does not have to take up all of your time. He sees the value in having multiple sources of income especially when it is not extremely time consuming, and believes it takes away some of the stresses of quitting a 9-5 job. When being asked how important mindset is when starting your own business, Jonathan replied with “Mindset is key. Unless you believe in yourself you’ll never take the leap. People have a great tendency to settle. No one woke up and decided growth was easier than settling. The end goal has to be worth it. Once you define what your end goal is, the journey to get there no matter how hard it will always be worth it.” Jonathan stresses the importance of having goals that are realistic and financially achievable, and to work on scaling your business from there.
Jonathan’s advice for any entrepreneurs looking to start their own business is to ask yourself why you are choosing to start on this journey. “What you need is less motivation and more deep down conviction that this is your true “why.” The work you do in your life is a reflection of the purpose you are doing it for.” It is also very important for each entrepreneur to believe in themself and their purpose because in the beginning you might not always get the overwhelming support you are hoping for.
