Meeting Elliot Tousley, the co-founder of De Novo Agency with James Landry, was thrilling. He is the creator of DNA’s Spotify Outreach program. Elliot is not new with Spotify campaigns. He has been in over 300 campaigns touching all the music genres, and in that, he has helped his clients generate almost 10 million organic streams on Spotify.

He is pleased to announce that he is launching a music distribution startup that is different from all other music distributions.

Short History About Tousley

He has been marketing music for more than 10 years – as an independent artist. He has been in more than 30 paid shows for his band. He has stumbled at times, but over time he has learned the via the best way – experience. He does not consider his failures as hurdles, but as a way to learn a new way of not doing things!

With his caring personality, Tousley never wants anyone else to pass through what he has been through. He loves helping and inspiring people. This has made him see how people really need such help and to get to many people, he ventured into business. He learned how to generate organic results, use the data from those results to build a target audience, use that target audience to leverage and book a gig or a deal.

This forced him to turn his music industry into a full-time job. He got laid off from his fortune 50 corporate insurance job after 3 ½ years. This agitated him to work tirelessly to make his passion, music, help many people, and help him as well. He has since helped artists achieve their goals.

Blending Music with Marketing

Elliot Tousley has worked with independent artists on digital marketing campaigns for their music. He started a business that is helping musicians distribute their music to the world with their Songflowr, and then a second company to liaise with musicians to help them market their music and create business opportunities with it.

The two companies are all focused on being artist-friendly as possible. He attests that Everything that he does is anchored on helping the artists. This has made him help a considerable number of artists to protect and grow their music beyond national borders. “Everything done by an Indie record label is what we do. The difference is that for us, the artist keeps 100% of their music equity.” He says.

What Working with Tousley Means

The first benefit that his clients accrue is meeting someone with a passion for what he is doing. When his passion blends with experience. He has personally been through what most of his clients are passing through, so he offers the best solutions. He knows how to grow out of those situations, and he encourages his clients as well as serving them appropriately, unlike many other marketing companies out there.

Elliot Tousley: Helping Others is My Passion

“Apart from music,” Tousley says, “I have another passion.” “I love seeing people succeed in the music industry” He continues, “That’s why I am always willing to be there to ensure that I help an artist, both upcoming or one who has been in the industry for long.”

His passion and zeal have triggered the growth of his two companies. He has made artists sell both locally and internationally. Having more than 10 million organic views is a great deal. Yes, it is! Especially for a beginner artist who is venturing in the music industry.
