Pauly Long decided to start his own business in 2019, which was a year of trial and error. He tried so many different businesses before landing in the mindset niche. Some of these included real estate, network marketing, multi-level marketing, e-commerce, AirBnb, currency trading, and a few others that he doesn’t remember because he was moving so fast from one to the next. The problem was, Pauly was trying all these things because he saw OTHER people having success with them. They were all the popular, trending entrepreneurship industries. He states, “I was chasing the money instead of letting it come to me. I always loved the thought of being a motivational speaker, and found myself throughout life always giving the people around me helpful advice and insight. But I doubted myself of ever being that type of person because I didn’t have any experience or success.” In the first week of November, Pauly posted his first motivational video on his Instagram. He then started doing 1 or 2 a week. Pauly got an opportunity to speak on Facebook Live to a network marketing team. There ended up being 70 women on the call where he poured his heart out with motivational mindset advice and got an immense amount of positive feedback from the participants. That moment was the turning point for Pauly, and he went home with a whole new perspective on life. Pauly began creating material for MineSet the following day. He knew it was right for him, and began creating his business.

An individual’s perception of fear and success is what will determine the projection of their business. To Pauly Long, fear means False Events Appearing Real. “Fear of the unknown will bring you to a dead halt. You must not blind yourself with fear when making the decision to do something new. Take risk, invest, get over the fear of spending money, embrace change. Change is growth, and growth is progress. Having fear will enable doubt. This doubt will eventually crush whatever dreams and goals you have set out to do.” Pauly Long says fear will keep you complacent doing the same thing you have always done. His perspective is if you want to live an extraordinary life, you must stomp on your fear when it comes to trying new things. “Learn to love failing instead of fearing it. Failing is a lesson. And a lesson means you learned what not to do. So that puts you one step closer to the right thing to do. Fear will prevent you from listening to your intuition. Most of the time, our intuition is that little voice inside our heads with the most brilliant ideas we have ever come up with. It is crucial to encourage those thoughts and not ignore them.”

When being asked what success means to him, Pauly Long replied with, “Your success relies on you. Success is the result of true happiness and inner peace. Happiness and inner peace are derived from having whatever amount of money necessary to provide your life of choice. So in a way, success is created with money, but it is not determined by it.”

What Pauly wants people to take away is to chase what you truly love most and follow your purpose with a passion. He says the right amount of money will always come to you, no matter what that amount is, as long as you are doing what you truly love. To learn more about Pauly Long and his journey, click here.
